Yearly Gathering

Israel 2008

This last March, GYI leaders gathered from around the globe to plan this next year’s gathering in Jerusalem, March 8-12, 2008. We are anticipating over 230 leaders from 50 plus countries to gather and experience “Jesus on Location”. This will be our first larger gathering of country and continent leaders… all passionate about building movements of multiplying disciples in their nation. We will also have over 50 students from 15 Bible Schools and Seminaries, who are have a heart for global youth ministry, joining us from various regions of the globe.

Beginning with a pre-conference on March 6-8 for our national leaders, we are planning on experiencing the Judean wilderness sleeping in a tent-like setting. From there we will go back to the Regency Hotel in Jerusalem for a Conference each morning, followed by afternoon tours of Jerusalem.

After the four-day conference, we have over 170 of us staying for a Post-Conference tour throughout Israel. We will continue to learn from each other as we share life-experiences and study Jesus on location. Below is a picture of the planning group that met this last March.
